Day 1 & 2: Lisbon & Fatima
Depart from the US and fly to Lisbon. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the city & transfer to Fatima.

Day 3: Fatima
Today will surely be memorable praying at the site where Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children: Lucia, Jacinta & Francisco. These apparitions occurred monthly May - Oct. of 1917, often asking to pray for world peace. Our profoundly reflective day begins with Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions, the site where the Virgin Mary first appeared on May 13.

Continue to the stunning neoclassical Basilica of Our Lady of Fatima. This sacred place contains the tombs of the children as well as a monument commemorating the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The day culminates with the Stations of the Cross on the Via Sacra & a candlelight procession. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 4: Fatima – Santiago de Compostela
After breakfast, depart for Spain! Tonight, attend the Pilgrims Mass in the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral at 7:30. This is the arrival point of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route & burial site of the apostle St. James.

Day 5: Santiago de Compostela – Burgos
This morning, celebrate Mass in the Cathedral before the drive to Burgosto. There, visit the French-gothic Cathedral whose three main doorways are flanked by
ornamented bell towers. Inside, take a moment in the Chapel of Condestable home of the tomb of El Cid, the 11th-century military commander. Overnight in Burgos.

Day 6: Burgos – Lourdes
Depart this morning for Lourdes, France. Over these two days, wake up in this small town nestled within the Pyrenees Mountains. This is home to the Sanctuary Our Lady of Lourdes, one of the most important shrines dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Day 7: Lourdes
Our Lady first appeared to Bernadette Soubiros in 1858 announcing herself as “The Immaculate Conception,” near the Grotto of Massabielle. Attend Mass at the Grotto. Also, see Boly Mill, the birthplace of St. Bernadette & the “Cachot,” an abandoned prison where her impoverished family lived. Before dinner, participate in the Blessed Sacrament Procession (April-October only) lit by candlelight & guided by the most Holy Rosary. Then, return to the hotel for overnight in Lourdes.

Day 8: Lourdes – Nevers
This morning, travel seven hours to Nevers, the site where St. Bernadette lived for twelve years as a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Nevers. The Saint suffered from a number of illnesses such as asthma, tuberculosis & cancer in her right knee. For this reason, St. Bernadette received Last Rights three times & eventually passed away in 1879, at the age of thirty-five. Overnight in Nevers.

Day 9: Nevers – Paris
Today, visit the Sanctuary & the St. Gildard Convent where St. Bernadette’s incorrupt body rests. While here, reflect upon the life of the beloved Saint & celebrate a Holy Mass. Mid-morning departure to Paris for overnight.

Day 10: Paris
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Paris! Begin at Notre Dame Cathedral, set to reopen in December. Visit the magnificent Sacre-Coeur Basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Take time for prayer at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. There will be time for the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Champs-Elysées & some shopping! Overnight in Paris.

Day 11: Return home
Your spiritual journey concludes with transfer to the airport.
