This program offers students a dynamic immersion into the business environment and cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates. With a focus on intercultural awareness and economic innovation, the itinerary blends professional site visits (with entities such as ADNOC, Dubai Islamic Bank, and Masdar City) with curated cultural excursions in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Students will gain firsthand understanding of the UAE’s transformation from a traditional society to a global hub for finance, sustainability, and innovation.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dubai
Upon your arrival at Dubai International Airport, you'll experience a seamless transfer to your hotel, where a representative will greet you and assist with your luggage. After checking in, take some time to relax before venturing out on foot to Dubai Creek in the evening.

Day 2: Dubai
Start the day with a panoramic tour of Dubai’s modern attractions, guided by an experienced professional. You’ll have the chance for photo stops at landmarks such as the Dubai Frame, which offers stunning views of the city's diverse skyline. Marvel at the architectural splendor of The Palm Jumeirah and capture a moment at the iconic Burj Al Arab. A visit to the Burj Khalifa allows you to ascend to the observation deck for breathtaking views as well as a multimedia presentation of the exotic history of Dubai.

Conclude your day with time to explore the vast Dubai Mall, including the enchanting fountain show in the evening. This evening you will also have use of meeting space for 1-2 hours for your hotel dinner and group discussion.

Day 3: Dubai
Enjoy a full day dedicated to experiencing the vibrant culture of Dubai. After breakfast, you'll have a session with a Dubai-based company.

This afternoon, visit the breathtaking Dubai Miracle Garden. Here, explore a creative environment filled with over 45 million blooming flowers displayed in impressive formations, providing a unique and relaxing experience. After your visit, you'll have some downtime before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Dubai
Today, delve into the rich heritage of Sharjah with a morning tour. Your journey will include stops at the cultural roundabout to view the Quran monument and the Islamic Civilization Museum, where you'll learn about the region's vast history. Continue to Al Eslah School Museum, for an example on how the educational system was back in the 1930's. Next, head to the Sharjah Heritage Museum which will give you a chance to explore the diverse environments where Eirai people lived in the past. Finally, a visit to Al Ara Souk and Souk al Markazi will provide insight into the traditional Emirati lifestyle. After your explorations, have a photo stop at King Fiasal Mosque before returning to your hotel for the evening.

This evening you will have use of hotel meeting space for 1-2 hours.

Day 5: Dubai
Discover the traditional side of Dubai on this half-day tour. Explore the Bastakia area with its classic wind towers. Enjoy some free time in the textiles and cloth market before a visit to the Al Shindagha Museum to understand the city's trading history. Enjoy an Abra (Water Taxi) ride across Dubai Creek and experience local culture at the Gold and Spice Souk, where you can navigate the bustling alleys filled with unique treasures. Afterward, head back to your hotel and relax at your leisure.

Day 6: Abu Dhabi
Your adventure continues as you depart for Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. Upon arrival, enjoy a full day guided tour of the city. Highlights include visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, renowned for its architectural beauty and spiritual significance. Explore the historic Al Hosn Palace and stop for photos at the Emirates Palace before taking a refreshing moment at the Abu Dhabi Corniche. A brief stop at a local date market adds a touch of local flavor to your day. After your tour continue to your hotel for check-in and dinner.

Day 7: Abu Dhabi
After breakfast, you’ll visit the ADNOC office followed by a trip to Masdar City, a testament to sustainable urban development. Explore this innovative community and learn about its vision for a sustainable future. Later, return to Dubai and settle into your hotel, ready for the next phase of your adventure.

Day 8: Dubai
In the morning, visit the Dubai Islamic Bank. Return to your hotel for some time to freshen up before embarking on an exciting desert safari experience in private 4WD vehicles. This thrilling excursion includes dune-bashing through the golden sands, a traditional Bedouin experience complete with camel rides, and a delicious barbecue dinner accompanied by mesmerizing entertainment.

Day 9: Dubai
Today enjoy a visit to the remarkable Museum of the Future, where you can engage with exhibits that envision what life could be like in 2071. After your exploration, return to your hotel for a final chance to unwind before your upcoming departure tomorrow morning.

Day 10: Return to US
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
