An 11-day journey through Bulgaria, starting with Sofia's blend of Roman, Ottoman & modern influences. France: WWI & WWII

Japan: Culture of Zen & Buddhism
Buddhism trickled into Japan during the early 6th century. Shintoism was the primary religion at the time, but as years passed, Buddhism became widely accepted & incorporated into the Shinto way of life. During the 1100s, Zen Buddhism flourished throughout western Japan. Today, there are more than 9 million practicing Zen Buddhists in the country. Vietnam: New Perspectives Through Journalism
During this program, students will learn how perspective informs truth & accuracy - American students will collaborate with their Vietnamese counterparts on journalism assignments that will represent multiple perspectives.
Much of your time in country will be devoted to understanding the Vietnamese point of view of the “American War” (as it’s known in Vietnam).
