Take a 14-day journey along the coast of Ghana, where you'll explore African heritage, history & way of life. Along the way, you will learn about the history of the Transatlantic slave trade & have the opportunity to serve alongside locals as you volunteer at villages & schools. You can also trek through rainforests, relax on the beach & visit a variety of key historical sites around the country.
Kenya: Safari Adventure in Maasai Mara

This tour is an opportunity to experience the scenic side of South Africa as well as delve into the powerful history of brutal segregation. Visit sites & museums dedicated to the impacts of apartheid & the struggle to overcome discrimination. It is truly a powerful experience to realize that such a beautiful country could have such a harrowing story of intolerance.
Tanzania: Ecology, Wildlife & Evolutionary Genetics
In this program, open to both Biology & non-Biology majors, we’ll explore the country’s ecology & evolutionary patterns. Excursions will include safaris in the Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro Crater, visits to Olduvai Gorge where Australopithecus once roamed & ancient rituals with the Maasai Tribe. Join us as we experience one of the most ecologically exciting & evolutionary significant sites in the world!
Tanzania: Engineering & Sustainable Development
This program provides students with the opportunity to analyze and apply engineering principles to real-world challenges and sustainable development projects in Tanzania. Students will critically assess the impact of engineering solutions on both the environment and society, with a focus on ethical and sustainability considerations. The program includes collaboration with local engineers and communities to design and implement culturally relevant and sustainable solutions. Through personal experiences and cultural immersion, students will develop a global perspective on engineering and its role in addressing societal needs.
Tanzania: Medical Volunteer Project & Wildlife Safari
This program gives medical & nursing students a unique perspective on healthcare, as they travel through Tanzania & interact with local staff at a variety of medical facilities. Work alongside local doctors at a hospital in Arusha, lead workshops on empowerment for adolescent girls & learn about other local efforts in the area that are reaching out to women, men & children in need. After the volunteer project, enjoy a few days participating in exciting safari game drives in wildlife areas.
Tanzania: Mt. Kilimanjaro, Wildlife & Maasai Community Project
Enjoy unique, cultural experiences on this 9-day tour! You'll participate in farm life at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, hike through the bush with the Maasai learning about their natural medicine tradition & help build a water catchment for fresh & sanitary drinking water. Plus, you'll observe nature in motion & up-close, as you canoe through Momella Lake. You can participate in a traditional goat grilling ceremony too. This trip provides a great opportunity to improve the quality of others’ lives & experience the essence of Tanzanian culture.
Tanzania: Safari Photography Tour
Get your cameras ready, pack your bags & head into the wild Tanzanian bush. This exciting photography tour features several game drives where you’ll get the opportunity to capture wonders of nature on film. You may even have an opportunity to photograph the Great Migration of wildebeests plunging through the crocodile waters of the Grumeti River.
Tanzania: Wildlife Observation & Maasai Water Catchment Project
This service project helps to provide one of the human race’s most essential needs – water. Help build a water catchment for a Maasai community to provide them with a fresh water supply. While camping & volunteering at the Maasai community, you’ll learn about their daily lives & the natural resources they use for medicinal purposes. And to add to this unique experience, you’ll enjoy several safari game drives to discover the wonderful wildlife of Tanzania, participate in cultural activities, cycle tours & more!
