CityServe Israel FAM Trip
Overview
This exclusive five-day trip (January 6-10, 2025), organized by CityServe Israel (https://cityserve.us/israel/), offers pastors and leaders an unparalleled geo-political experience in Israel. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the region’s complexities through visits to key areas, including the Gaza border region, the community of Ein HaBesor, and the Galilee. Highlights include firsthand encounters with local leaders and affected communities, as well as the opportunity to witness the transformative projects CityServe Israel is spearheading in the area. The itinerary includes meetings with senior retired IDF officers, security specialists, and other experts, offering invaluable insights into Israel’s current challenges and resilience. Alongside these impactful experiences, participants will visit historic and biblical landmarks, providing a well-rounded connection to the land and its people.
Cost
No cost to attend! Participants are only responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their flights to and from Israel, which can be booked through FTI.
Itinerary
Monday, January 6th:
Arrival to Tel Aviv.
Check-in at Dan Panorama hotel (from 3:00 PM).
Evening lecture by a prominent Israeli leader.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Tuesday, January 7th:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to the Gaza border region.
Guided field tour of the area led by an experienced former IDF colonel.
Learn about the events of October 7th.
Visit communities affected by recent events to hear their stories.
Return to Tel Aviv.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Wednesday, January 8th:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Ein HaBesor to meet local leaders and farmers in a community being supported.
Travel to Moshav Srigim in the Ella Valley to meet the family of Shani Louk, who tragically lost her life during the events of October 7th.
Dinner en route.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Thursday, January 9th:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Arbel National Park for breathtaking views of the Sea of Galilee.
Explore key Christian landmarks around the Sea of Galilee.
Meet with local leaders to discuss post-operation developments in Lebanon (security
situation permitting).
Lecture by a distinguished former senior IDF officer, offering deep insights into the
complex challenges and evolving threats along Israel’s Northern front.
Dinner at a restaurant.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Friday, January 10th:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure from Tel Aviv.
